Come on in

What you can expect from your session

The Setting

This setting is designed to be a safe and comfortable space, where we can build trust; allowing you to be vulnerable and in tune with your feelings.

This space provides a break from judgement and opinions, which we are so often bombarded with in every day life. Here you can let go of all of that and be exactly who you are.

About me

Hi, I'm Sarah.

I qualified as a Disability & Mental Health Nurse in the year 2000, and have worked in the field for over 20 years. To pursue my career in Mental Health further, I then went on to study Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a trained Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and a member of the National Counselling Society & UKATA.

Transactional Analysis is known as the 'talking curve' talking therapy, that helps to probe and explore emotional difficulties and help you better understand your emotional states and why they exist. TA uses a method that looks back on past experiences in order to decode challenges you may be facing at present. TA can aid in personal development and overcoming issues within your day to day life that may be holding you back.

My approach is flexible and allows me to work with both adults and children, groups, individuals and couples.

I strongly believe that real progress can be achieved through giving an individual a safe space to be heard, free from judgement or worry. I offer the opportunity to build a therapist to client alliance that will allow you to face difficulties you might be experiencing in a comfortable environment, away from the outside world.
